I took out my braids and this is how much growth so far....still a long way ahead. I cant wait

My facial disapointment

So I got so many pimples right now and I have been feeling very bad. Its a self esteem knocker to have a problem with your skin especially if its not a problem you are used to. I decided to go back to garnier since it was so good to my skin a while back. I cant even remember why i stopped using it cause it was good to me. This is day 2 and I hope the pimples disappear soon.

Protective style

Nothing seem to be working out at the moment. My face is a mess and my hair is not growing at all. I dont know whether it decided to go on strike like the service delivery protest around the country.

I have been so impatient with my hair growth that I decided to do a protective style and I hope to stay with it for a while. Am loving my red senegalese twist. I was brave and went for red. It paid off cause it makes me look bright in these winter days.  My face is looking better cause atleast there is that glow but the pimples come and go. Now I have spots on my face as well. Hmm Dilemmas of a "teenage" thirty something old woman.

Removing the mask

So I have been having a lot of acne lately since I stopped taking purbac. I have been really frustrated as I am not used to pimples on my face. My diet is not as it should be but I am a religious water drinker esp when I am at work. I drink 2-3 liters a day. I have been hearing that drinking a lot of water clears the skin well imagine my frustration when I am constantly with pimples on my face more so when I am on my period.

I was doing a lot of research on how to keep my natural hair looking healthy and to grow. Lo and behold I ran on an article on using olive oil for your face. I was willing to try anything. So I started on using olive oil and then steam my face for a few minutes and then wipe the oil off. It left my skin feeling great and with a nice glow. This weekend I made a olive oil and honey mix to use as a mask. My skin is feeling good and am loving the glow it is leaving afterward. I have been noticing that the pimples are disappearing and dark spots fading. Am gonna keep at this and see how it goes.

If the pimples dont go atleast I am enjoying a glowing face...

Growing out my hair

I installed a weave cause my hair is growing so slowly. My hands are so itsy wanting to take off the weave I just put in last week. I feel like my hair hasnt been taken care of under all that weave. I have to wait atleast 2 more weeks or it will be a waste of my money.
My hair is taking its sweet time and I am so impatient right now. I am at a stage where I dont know what to do with the hair. I such a frustration really. Right now I am researching ways to make it grow faster a healthy and natural way.I cant wait to try on new treatment regimens on my hair. I read about JBCO I and I am looking for a cheaper place to buy it in South Africa. Last resort I will buy it online and get it shipped over. I will see how things pen out.
Impatiently waiting...

My journey begins

I have finally made a decision to keep my hair au naturel. What actually brought this on was the reason that I have been going through Youtube searching on how to instal an invisible part. I ran into a lot of videos on how to grow natural hair and how to take care of it. I cut my hair late last year and have been trying to grow it back. I got so fustrated this year and I softened it out again. I regret it so bad right now. I put a weave back on and am gonna be patient from now on. I want my natural hair and a gonna stick this one out.
I am doing research on how to grow strong, healthy and natural hair. I will continue on this journey. I am growing by hair out before I chop the relaxed part out.
